Madolsima

                Although my village was kegalle, I was in the Dehiattakandiya area in the Ampara district at the time. I had to go to Badulla To get the admission card for the Visharad examination, the final examination in my Indian examination. The day before I left for Badulla, we talked to two friends, Janith from Welimada & Anuradha from Monaragala, and planned to visit Dilshan's house in Madolsima, Passara.The next day at around 6.00am I boarded a bus from Dehiattakandiya, Polonnaruwa to Bandarawela and proceeded to Badulla via Mahiyangana, 21 Junction, Meegahakiwula, Thaldena. 

             When I arrived in Badulla, Janith was from Welimada. He meet me at the Badulla bus stand and that was the first time he and I meet. I meet another friend in Badulla and she was Thara. The two of us went to the examination center in Badulla, took my examination admission card and boarded a Monaragala bus back to Passara town. 

              When we went there, Dilshan was in Passara. After a while Anuradha also came. It was also the first time Anuradha and I meet. We all took our belongings to the tent and boarded a bus from Passara to Madolsima and arrived at Dilshan's house. 

               After eating some delicious food prepared by Dilshan's mother, we set off for the mountain with our bags, tent and guitar. At sunset we reached the top of the mountain and felt very cold. As soon as the tent was built we went inside and had a small party. The four of us were music students and spent the night singing. 

             By the next morning, the surroundings were very cold and the temperature was around 5 degrees Celsius. Anuradha and I did not forget  to take the guitar and sing a song even though it was very cold. It should be noted that it later became popular an social media network. Later, while descending the mountain, Anuradha was attacked by leeches and we returned to Dilshan's house.😂

              Ones again we ate delicious food prepared by Dilshan's mother and returned to Passara town to return home. There he meet another friend and he was Maneesha. In Passara, Janith, Anuradha and I boarded a bus from Monaragal to Badulla and arrived Badulla. The spread of the covid virus was severe in those days and I came on trip without telling my residents.😂 My elder brother was studying in his final year at the Uva Wellassa University in Badulla at that time and I came to Badulla with the fear of meeting my brother. 😁😂

               We arrived in Badulla at noon and Janith left for Welimada. Anurada left for Monaragala agan and I boarded a bus from Badulla to Polonnaruwa and left for Dehiattakandya.
