Sri Dalada perahera - Kandy

I join the Perahera every year as a Traditional Trumpet instrumentalist at the Temple of Tooth in Kandy.  This time I worked as a Flute player at the Vishnu Dewalaya at the Temple of Tooth in the Esala Perahera. The Covid epidemic in Sri lanka was on the rise during the Perahera this year and as a result the number of artisans recruited for this year's Perahera decreased. But this year too I was able to join the procession.

Our dance troupe performed a "Lee Keli" dance. presented by Sasmitha Kalayathanaya, Ampara - Uhana. This dance was a beautiful feature performed in blue colour.
