Embilipitiya⁩, Monaragala, Passra, Badullla via Polonnaruwa

Maleesha, who is studying at the Faculty of Dance at my university, told me that he wanted my drum, so I wanted to take the drum and go to the Embilipitiya area where his house is located.  I got on the bus from Ruwanwella at 1.30 am and it was a long distance bus from Jaffna to Walasmulla. It was around 6 in the morning when I got on the bus and reached Embilipitiya via Avissawella, Eheliyagoda, Ratnapura, Pelmadulla, Kahawatta, Godakawela, Pallebedda and Walawa junctions.

When I reached Embilipitiya, Malisha was at the bus stand.  I came to his house with him and gave you the drum. I got a phone call while having breakfast at his house.  That was Anuradha from Moneragala.  He told me to come to Dilshan's house in Passara.

The easiest way to get to Passara at that time is to go to Passara via Thanamalwila, Wellawaya, Moneragala and Badalkumbura.  Therefore, I returned to the Embilipitiya bus stand at around 8 am and took the bus from Mulatiyana to Moneragala.  Arriving in Moneragala town it was around 11 in the morning and from there it was around 1 in the evening when I boarded a bus bound for Badulla and reached Passara town.

Anuradha, Hashara Akka, Sachintha, Kavindu and Sandaru Malli were present at Dilshan's house at around 2 pm when they boarded a bus leaving for Passara. We sat at Dilshan's house for a while and looked around and left for Badulla.  It was around 8 pm when I left Badulla and reached Bulathwatta village where Sachintha's house is located.

We spent the night in Bulathwatta and the next day we visited Badulla town, Muthiyanganaya and boarded a train from Badulla railway station to Demodara railway station.  We walked from Demodara to the bridge at Nine Arches Nine and spent some time having fun there.

Although I was on my way home that evening, I got a phone call in Dehiattakandiya that there was work to be done the next day and that I should come and play Traditional Trumpet. In the evening I boarded a bus from Badulla to Polonnaruwa and headed to Dehiattakandiya, where my traditional clothes and traditional trumpet were from Kegalle.

I called my house in Kegalle and got them on a bus from Colombo to Ampara and brought them to Mahiyanganaya.  It was about 2 in the morning when we went to Mahiyangana town to fetch them. The next day I played the traditional trumpet and left for my home in Kegalle. As it was evening there were no buses through Mahiyangana Kandy and I reached Polonnaruwa town and from there boarded a bus bound for Colombo via Minneriya, Habarana, Dambulla, Kurunegala, Alawwa and then returned home to Warakapola.
